work free weekend

as i sit on a Sunday evening reflecting back on the past week i feel so grateful for my friends, family + loved ones.

studying interior design it is so easy to get caught up in the workload, deadlines and tasks needing to be checked off the long to do list it's easy to call a "rain check" on plans with friends and loved ones.

having my best friend down from Scotland this week i decided that this weekend i would spend an entire weekend having fun with my best friend and boyfriend - completely work free ! for me weekends are usually spent working either from my home or from the university studio and then trying to fit in plans with friends and my boyfriend, which usually end in me falling asleep mid movie.

it's so important to spend quality time with your support system as they are the ones who help you and support you when times are tough.

even though there is ALWAYS work to be done, for me some time off relaxing and being with my people is really important for me and i see no wrong in putting work on hold for a day or two. in the end the work will always get done.

with a fun weekend i am ready to crack on with the workload ahead of me this week..

& i am off to plan my work load for the week and pack my bags for university tomorrow.
