below are a few images to show the production process of the lathing of the timber legs which form part of my bench design for the Abantu Community Center.
Mr de Zitter was so hands on and sat with me discussing my design and sent progress images as he was going as well as encouraged me to be present in parts of the production progress.
currently the timber is still a bit wet so it has a rough fury texture (nothing we can do right now) so hopefully it dries up a bit before portfolio so i am able to get Mr de Zitter so smooth it out to create a soft glossy finish.

tomorrow i will hopefully be able to go pick up the top of the bench which is currently been laser cut by loads of laser in charlo.
i am so excited to finally see my design coming together. finished product photos will be posted soon

This looks fantastic! Can't wait to see the final product.
