the Abantu center will have a pottery workshop for all ages and genders that would like to create and or learn the art of pottery

from the interviews done and research from Social Anthropology it was noted that pottery is an important part of the Xhosa and African culture, thus a pottery workshop will keep the tradition alive.
pottery made will be either used or displayed within the Abantu Centre or sold at a monthly market that is open to the public. 60% of the funds from sold items will be used to keep the lights on at the center and 40% will go to the designer directly.
" keep the tradition alive "
i have seen a really nice pottery workshop down at Remos in Baakens valley that i am yet to go to and get my hands dirty to understand the process and needs of a pottery workshop
