twenty people from the walmer location were interviewed to obtain information on thier gender, age, ethnic background and to get first hand information on what they would benefit from in the Abantu Community Centre.

gathering information from the people that would be using the space is so important for the design fase of the project. It really gives you good insight as to what the people from the targeted community would benefit from and how often they would use the centre.

i found that intervirewing people from the walmer location gave me a better understanding as to the specific worshops and or spaces that i im going to put into the Abantu Community Centre. i also got a strong YES on the logo design and the choice of colours for the space.

i really enjoyed speaking to people from the walmer township about my proposed ideas for the Abantu Community Centre.
