fold down shelving design

a fold down shelving system that not only saves space but makes for a pretty cool wall design feature.

as simple as this design detail looks i had so many grey hairs from is as i simply could not figure out the pivot detail. luckily i have a pretty patient boyfriend to visually explained it to me using simple household objects. we both had a good laugh once i had finally understood it.

the pieces of wood used for the shelving will be recycled and refurbished timber with possibly some pieces of timber paint dipped in the colour palette for the abuantu center to bring some colour into the space ( a render of this interior will follow shortly)
