curved timber screen

the next design brief was to detail 5 design elements within our interior spaces.

hand carved curved timber wall partition will form a detailed feature within my interior. the timber wall will be used as a wall for design consultations with the public for any designed products needing to be made

the timber screen will have organic shapes hand carved out of the timber as hand carving forms a large part of the Xhosa culture. the open timber space to the left of the carvings can be used as a pin board all for and work displays or used in anyway in which is needed.

we have more interior design detailed elements for a submission in two weeks time. to start off i am normally not the biggest fan of detailing as i know how much research and thinking needs to go into it to get the best and most beautiful design detail but once i am actually in it and seeing the end result of it all coming together in the end makes it all worth it
