Site visits are an important part of the design process. It helps the designer orientate themselves, understand the proximity of existing spaces, existing interior finishes and to get a general feeling for the space.

today we went on a site visit to our chosen buildings.

Mike , the Manager at the Walmer Country Club was kind enough to organize a tour throughout the space and hooked us up with some wheels to tour the grounds and have a "little FUN " on site.

-Thanks Mike !

" and have a little fUN on site. "

A site analysis done on the existingsite with regards to ERF size, contours, existing landscaping, access to the building, noise factors and sun and wind analysis. all these factors play and important part in the design process...

Over the next week i will be working on the concept and the identity of the Community Centre - blog post to follow with the design development
