ceiling design detail

the next design brief was to detail 5 design elements within our interior spaces.

taking the bottoms of glass bottles and inserting them into a detailed designed floor (i am currently busy designing the technical details for the floor and glass inserts).

a re-purposed floor will allow natural light and activity to connect the first two levels of the main hall. i love this design detail as it is delicate and it creates scattered shadows on the floor below that are ever-changing throughout the day.

i love this way of recycling an every day waste into something beautiful.
